Best Farming Spot Agrabah – Cave of Wonders: Valley of Stone & Entrance

The only two heartless that can drop Energy Gems are Fortunetellers and Emerald Blues.

Both of these heartless can be found in Agrabah’s Cave of Wonders, and the best spot to farm them is in the Valley of Stone and the connecting Entrance area.

Let’s take a look at the optimal route to run:

Enter Agrabah from the Stone Guardians save point and turn right around to enter the Valley of Stone area.

In this upward stretch you’ll fight a bunch of both Fortunetellers and Emerald Blues.

Once you’ve cleared through the Valley of Stone, head outside to the Entrance area and go around back the giant tiger head to find a little copse of Emerald Blues.

After you clear these fellas, head out of the desert to the Palace Gates area and use the save point to return to the world map to do it all again.

Fortunetellers should be focused on first among all the Heartless spawns.

Because Fortunetellers present the biggest threat and can be annoying if left unchecked.

Besides, the odds of wiping out the smaller Emerald Blues while beating up their Fortune friends is fairly high.

If you can guard their ice blast attack, it gets returned to them and deals a large amount of AOE damage.

Using Energy Gems

Using Energy Gems in synthesis

Energy Gems are one of the three types of supplemental synthesis ingredients (the other two being Bright and Serenity).

They’re not used as a primary ingredient in any recipe in the game.

Instead, adding an Energy Gem to a synthesis recipe cuts the amount of items required in half. This is extremely useful when having to craft stuff such as the shown Mythril Stone, which is a key part of many other recipes.

But out of all the Energy items in Kingdom Hearts II, Gems are among the least-used.

So don’t worry too much about getting a large collection. But still go get at least a few of them!
