Command Styles are a new feature that allow characters to bring their attacks and ability to a new level while fighting off the many enemies they encounter on their journeys. Basically, when certain requirements are met during a standard string of attacks and Battle Commands, a corresponding Command Style is triggered. For example, if Ventus were to cast a few Fire spells during a string of combos, he would inevitably trigger the Firestorm Command Style, giving all of his attacks and abilities a fiery boost.

What’s more, Command Styles can be changed even if a character is already in a different Command Style. Command Styles are broken up into two ranks: Basic Styles and Advanced Styles. Advanced Styles can only be triggered if the criteria are met while the character is already in a Basic Style. A character will remain in a Command Style until they leave an area, unleash a Finish Command, or when the Command Gauge depletes. A complete list of each Command Style is available below, including its rank, its triggers, who can learn it, and where to locate it.
