The best way to farm Serenity Shards is to fight Large Bodies and Hot Rods in Disney Castle’s Cornerstone Hill.

Once you enter the Hill area, go into the Building Site window and go through the following two areas, returning to the Cornerstone Hill hub area through the Scene of the Fire area.

This simple route takes only a few minutes to run and can be easily reset by leaving to Disney Castle and returning. Despite Serenity Shards having a very low drop rate, this run will get you what you need in the fastest time.

Let’s take a closer look at the route and how you can farm for these shards optimally.

Timeless River – Cornerstone Hill

Once you arrive at Cornerstone Hill, prepare yourself and head into the Building Site window to the far left.

Here you’ll fight a few Large Bodies and Hot Rods.

Once you clear the area, head into the next window into the Lilliput town.

You won’t find too many Large Bodies here, but you will find a good handful of Hot Rods.

It won’t take too long to clear the two or three waves and you can move on to the Scene of the Fire.

The last leg of the run has a bunch more Large Bodies and Hot Rods.

Another easy clean-up and then you head back out into the Cornerstone Hill hub, where you can exit to Disney Castle to reset everything and go again.

Large Bodies and Hot Rods

You can probably tell who is who just based on the names, right?

Large Bodies take very little damage when attacked head-on, so either use magic, such as Blizzard or Thunder, or get good at getting behind them. Sora’s AOE combo finishers, like Magnet Splash and Explosion also cut through their defenses quite well.

Keep an eye out for their Reaction Command too, as it’s usually a one-hit KO.

As for Hot Rods… well, they tend to also be immune to head-on damage, though this is only the case when they’re peeling out – which is a lot of the time.

Focusing down the Hot Rods first is probably your best bet, they’re easily the more annoying enemy.

Tip: The Reflect spell works great when they’re peeling around, and it has the added benefit of catching other enemies in the blast. Making liberal use of it will help clear these areas that much faster.

Of course, you could also bust out a Drive Form. Wisdom and Limit work the best, due to their AOE and Magic-based attacks. You do you, my friends.

Using Serenity Shards

You’ll need a total of 21 Serenity Shards to make everything that requires them via synthesis.

Serenity Shards an additional ingredient that you add after gathering the primary.

Adding a Shard upgrades whatever you apply it to and doing so is the only way to obtain that particular item.

So, all these recipes require you to first craft the item before it, such as the Firaga Bangle before the Firagun Bangle. Just start crafting and you’ll see what I mean. I believe in you~!
